Summary:

In Homeward Bound II: Lost in San Francisco, Shadow, Sassy, and Chance return for another adventure. It has been three years since their last journey, and now the family lives in San Francisco. The film opens with the family going on a vacation to Canada, but there is a problem when the pets escape from the airport during the cargo area boarding process.

Now stranded in San Francisco, the three pets must find their way back home to their family. Along the way, they encounter a group of scruffy bully dogs and a gang of rebellious dogs who have formed their own community. They also have to evade dog catchers in a Blood Red Van who are determined to capture them.

Amidst their trials, Chance, the lovable bulldog, meets a female dog and it's instant love. The pets work together to navigate the busy streets of San Francisco, facing challenges and overcoming obstacles in their quest to return to their family.
